An early 20th century vintage colour print of a "Dutch Interior" scene (also known as "Woman with a Child in a Pantry") by the 17th century Dutch painter Pieter de Hoogh (or "de Hooch"), in its original gilt wood frame with bevelled gilt card mount; the frame measures approximately 16.5 x 21.8 x 1.3cm (6.5 x 8.6 x 0.5in), the visible area of the print 8.5 x 12.3cm (3.35 x 4.85in). The print itself remains in good condition, although it may or may not have discoloured with age; there is some marking and discoloration to the frame with some age wear including scratches, scuffs and slight chipping (mainly to the corners), whilst the black leather-effect backing board is likewise worn and marked; there is some marking to the inside surface of the glass, which contains the odd slight manufacturing imperfection. Please note that the frame currently has no hanging hooks or cord, nor is the small brass-rimmed hole near the top suitable for hanging purposes; however, a pair of screw-in eyes and a hanging cord can easily be added by the purchaser.
