A framed Victorian engraving of "The Golden Bough" by J. M. W. Turner (1834), engraved by T. A. Prior, in a modern black and gilt frame with card mount; the frame measures approximately 32.2 x 27cm (12.65 x 10.65in), the engraving itself 25 x 16.3cm (9.85 x 6.4in). A modern label stuck to the back reads "The Art Journal / 1823"; that date being clearly wrong, it is more likely that this engraving was produced in the second half of the nineteenth century. The engraving is in good condition apart from some very slight foxing (mostly at the bottom) and a few other tiny spots; the frame has some chipping to the corners, some scratches and moderate wear to the gilt.
