A Victorian engraving of a 17th century English monarch, which resembles a portrait of King Charles II (King of England 1660-85) by Sir Godfrey Kneller, now in the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. The engraving, the exposed portion of which measures approximately 12.8 x 9cm (5.05 x 3.55in), has been mounted in fairly recent times in a modern black frame with silver decoration, measuring approximately 21 x 16.6cm (8.25 x 6.55in), with olive green oval card mount. The engraving is in good condition, although there is some scratching and other slight wear to the frame and one or two scratches to the glass, whilst there is a dark patch to the bottom left of the mount caused by fading around an old price label whilst on display in a shop.
