A Cornish dolphin-shaped studio pottery dish, measuring approximately 22.9cm (9in) across, in shiny glaze, mottled dark brown and white with dark brown spots to the upper surface and plain dark brown to the underside, which is impressed "FOSTERS POTTERY / ENGLAND / CORNWALL" in large capitals. It is unlikely to be pre-1970s, and may be more recent, although it is not brand new. Apart from a few small scratches, it is in very good condition.
