A c.1930s ceiling hanging bowl light shade of attractive shape, in white flake glass with small blue flecks and clear veining, measuring approximately 29cm wide and 14.5cm deep (excluding hooks). The original chains, each approximately 35.5cm long (not shown at their full length in the photo), are still present but very rusty; the chain hooks are likewise rather rusty and pitted. There is a group of shallow chips to the outer edge of the rim, together with some roughness and nibbling to the inner and outer edges; there are some scratches and scuffs to the surface, together with a few slight marks including specks of paint to the interior, whilst the glass contains numerous small air bubbles and other manufacturing irregularities.
