Eric Lodge (compiler), "The Yorkshire Dales Official Guide", c.1960s

"The Yorkshire Dales Official Guide", compiled by Eric Lodge, F.R.G.S.  This 112-page paperback, which measures approximately 12.1 x 18cm (4.75 x 7.1in), is undated but is obviously 1960s; it contains a fold-out map, several black and white illustrations and numerous advertisements for hotels and other local businesses.  The name of the original owner is written in ink at the top of the first page, and there is some pencil annotation to the fold-out map, which has some creasing to its edges.  There is some wear and marking to the cover, including slight creasing, slight bumping to the edges and corners, and some water marks to the spine; the pages themselves are in good condition apart from occasional slight marking and creasing.
