Borwick & Sons, Ltd.; n.d., c.1930). Booklet comprising 96 pages plus covers and four page centrefold of illustrations printed in colour on thin card, measuring approximately 13.4 x 20.6cm (5.3 x 8.1in). This lovely vintage promotional recipe book includes a wide range of recipes, some with such enticing names as "Cupid Cakes", "Cambridge Sausage Pudding", "Hallowe'en Cake" (with "Black Magic Cream"), "Gipsy Pie", "Porcupine Peaches", "Tango Trifle" and "Watford Nut Cup Cakes"! The staples have rusted, leaving slight adjacent rust staining, and the cover, illustrated centrefold and one or two of the leaves have consequently become detached; the cover is discoloured with various rust and other marks together with age wear including creases, bumping to edges and corners, slight tears, and two or three pinpricks to the back, whilst the illustrated centrefold is likewise discoloured with considerable foxing and other slight marks together with age wear including creasing and slight bumping; the pages are discoloured with some marks and stains together with age wear including creasing and bumping.
