Eastgate Fauna posy vase / trough with squirrel and bunny (no. 31), c.1960s-70s

A c.1960s-70s vintage Eastgate pottery posy vase / trough, in the form of a log with a squirrel figure and a bunny figure attached to the front corners, measuring approximately 21.5 x 9.3 x 7.7cm / 8.45 x 3.65 x 3.05in (max); the base is impressed "31 / EASTGATE / ENGLAND", and bears the black printed "EASTGATE / WITHERNSEA / ENGLAND / POTTERY / FAUNA" lighthouse stamp as used from 1967.  There are some craze lines to the glaze in places; the bunny has a tiny nibble to one ear and slight roughness to the other, whilst the squirrel has slight roughness to one ear, and there is very slight scratching and abrasion to the surface together with some marking to the foot; there are some minor imperfections to the moulding and the glaze, including spot marks, occasional tiny bumps, and a small unglazed patch below the bunny.
