A small engraved map of Truro, dating from the early to mid-nineteenth century and probably taken from a book, mounted in a modern wooden photo frame with (somewhat roughly bevelled) card mount. The map, the visible area of which measures approximately 7.7 x 10.3cm, incorporates an old spelling of "Rudruth" (Redruth); underneath the mount it has a printed border to two sides, indicating that it has been cut from a larger sheet. There is a small puncture to the "Truro and Falmouth River", together with some foxing / brown marks and slight age discoloration; there is slight wear to the frame, which measures approximately 16.9 x 22cm, and some slight marking to the glass.
