An appealing carnival glass footed bowl by Dugan (later Diamond), c.1910-31, in the "Double Stem Rose" pattern, in amethyst with a good degree of iridescence, measuring approximately 19.9cm (7.85in) across and 9.6cm (3.8in) in height. There is some age wear including scratches and marks to the exterior (including a ring of horizontal scratching towards the top) and some tiny spots of wear to the interior and rim; there are some manufacturing imperfections in the glass including occasional air bubbles, a ring of uneven wavy lines around the lower exterior, and some roughness to the foot; there is slight nibbling to the edge of the foot at the base of one of the twin moulding seam lines, which may date from manufacture.
