Denby Stoneware plant / flower pot (grey-green with grid and circle pattern), c.1950s-60s

A very good example of a typically 1950s or early 1960s vintage Denby Stoneware plant / flower pot, measuring approximately 10.8cm (4.25in) tall and 12.8cm (5.05in) in diameter at the top, with a light grey-green matt finish to the exterior with terracotta brown rim and applied grid and circle pattern in shiny white glaze.  Apart from a few slight marks to the surface, a few small rough patches / defects to the base edge, and some irregularities to the rim, it is in very good condition; indeed, the surprising absence of staining to the interior suggests that it has never been used!
