A matching pair of vintage Denby Stoneware plant / flower pots of typically 1950s or early 1960s style, each measuring approximately 13.3cm (5.25in) tall, 16.7cm (6.55in) in diameter at the top and 10.4cm (4.1in) in diameter at the base, in a light grey-green matt finish to the exterior and much of the interior (graduating downwards to plain stone colour) with deep terracotta brown rim and applied grid and circle pattern in shiny white glaze; the bases are both marked with the same "DENBY / MADE IN / ENGLAND" black printed stamp. Both pots have some marking and slight wear to the base and interior together with a few slight marks to the exterior and occasional slight chipping to the applied decoration (which can only be seen upon close inspection), whilst one has a very tiny fleabite to the bottom edge; they are otherwise in very good condition.
