Davidson "Chevron" Art Deco large blue pressed glass vase (pattern 295), c.1938-1960s

A vintage Art Deco "Chevron" blue pressed glass vase by Davidson of Gateshead (pattern 295), designed by W. J. G. Fullerton in 1938 and produced until the 1960s; this example is of the second largest of four sizes, measuring approximately 21.1cm (8.3in) tall, 10.6cm (4.15in) across at the top (max), and 8cm (3.15in) in internal diameter at the top.  There are some small chips and nibbles to the corners and the base edge, together with age wear including some scratches and spots / small patches of abrasion to the surface, wear to the foot and slight to moderate clouding to the interior in places; there are numerous manufacturing irregularities including roughness around the base edge, uneveness to the surface, and various straw / line marks and air bubbles in the glass.
