Dartington Glass paperweight - "S.S. Dartington" (1982)

A Dartington Glass paperweight in clear glass, the underside moulded in an anchor and lifebelt design with the words "1982 / S.S. DARTINGTON", measuring approximately 7.6cm (3in) in diameter and 2.9cm (1.15in) thick.  The paperweight retains its original clear "DARTINGTON / ENGLAND" sticker to the side, whilst a code number is somewhat faintly etched to the underside edge; this code number appears to be "228/2000", and presumably denotes a limited edition.  There is considerable age wear to the foot including a small chip to the outer edge together with several tiny nibbles and numerous scratches, whilst there are many scratches and scuffs together with a few fleabites to the upper surface (mainly in a ring towards the edge), as well as some wear to the sticker; there are a few tiny air bubbles in the glass.
