"Daily Mail Quiz Book Number 8: Inventions" (Printed for the Publisher, Associated Newspapers Ltd., by Morrison and Gibb Ltd., London and Edinburgh; first published 1957).  Paperback, 160pp, measuring approximately 10.5 x 16.2 x 1.1cm (4.15 x 6.4 x 0.45in).  The first part of the book consists of questions from which quizzes might be compiled, with cross-references to the second part of the book, which contains much interesting information about inventors and inventions from which the answers must be abstracted.  The cover is discoloured with slight marking and some foxing (most noticeable to the inside covers), bumping to the edges and corners and general wear; the pages are discoloured with tanning to the edges and some foxing (mainly to the end pages and page edges), together with some bumping and slight creasing to the corners.
