Czechoslovakian pottery twin-handled vase with transfer bird design, c.1920s

A c.1920s vintage Czechoslovakian pottery twin-handled vase, in dark bluish-green and off-white to the exterior with a colour transfer of two birds on a branch with berries to the front together with traces of (worn and blackened) gold painted trim, off-white to the interior, measuring approximately 10.8cm (4.25in) in height and 13.9cm (5.45in) across including handles, and marked to the base with a circular red printed "Made in Czecho-Slovakia" stamp.  The vase, which would have been sold cheaply when new, is of poor quality with numerous imperfections in both moulding and glaze; there are some craze lines in places, and possibly also a short hairline crack to the top, whilst there is some marking and age wear to the surface including some wear to the transfer.
