A c.1930s Czechoslovakian china "Perfecta" teapot, in white glaze with pink rose transfer design and gilt trim, complete with the original cylindrical aluminium strainer which fits neatly inside; the lid, which incorporates a semi-recessed knop, is held in place by a pair of lugs to the rim which remain exposed when the lid is in place.  The teapot, which measures approximately 23.5cm (9.25in) across including handle and spout, 13.5cm (5.3in) in diameter excluding handle and spout, and 11.3cm (4.45in) tall at the spout, is marked to the base with a dark green printed crown stamp with the words "VICTORIA / Czecho-Slovakia" and a further dark green printed stamp with the words "Perfecta Teapot / Patent No. 207093" together with the impressed number "360" and a smaller gilt mark; the lip of the strainer is stamped with the same patent number as the pot.  There is a chip to one of the lugs, together with a tiny nibble to the edge of the lid; there are a few scratches and slight marks to the surface together with considerable wear to the gilt, some wear and imperfections to the transfers, and marking and roughness to the foot; there are some imperfections in the glaze including occasional spot marks and pinholes, and a small unglazed patch to the exterior below one of the transfers; there is some age wear and marking to the strainer.
