A "Cuticura Talcum Powder" tin, by Potter Drug and Chemical Corporation, Boston, U.S.A., c.1920s, with most or all of the original contents. The tin, which measures approximately 12.3 x 6.8 x 3.7cm (4.85 x 2.7 x 1.45in), is printed with a distinctive orange, black and gold design, featuring a baby to one side and a lady to the other, each using the product. There is some wear, marking and scratching to the printed surface, together with a few tiny rust spots, whilst there is considerable tarnish and some surface rust to the top of the tin, some tarnish to the base, and slight rust to the base edge. The tin is nevertheless in good condition for its age, and would make an excellent display piece or addition to a collection of similar items.
