A 1950s Cussons "Damask Rose" gift box, complete and unused, measuring approximately 27 x 15.1 x 3.2cm (10.65 x 5.95 x 1.25in), and containing a tin of talcum powder, two bars of beauty soap and four bath cubes. There are damp stains and discoloration to the interior, the lid and the inner protective cardboard sheet, together with efflorescence to and around the soaps, disintegration to the foil covering the bath cubes, and a couple of rust patches and some tarnish to the base of the talc tin; three of the corners of the lid have been repaired with sticky tape, and there is general age wear and discoloration to the box. Please note that this is sold as a collector's item, and not for use.
