"Country Cooking with Stork" (London, The Stork Cookery Service, n.d., c.1960s). 24-page booklet with paper covers, measuring approximately 13.1 x 13cm (5.15 x 5.1in). This vintage promotional recipe booklet contains a selection of recipes making use of "those wholesome ingredients so dear to the hearts of country cooks" - and, of course, Stork Margarine - including "Spiced Blackcurrant Muffins", "Fig and Ginger Poppets", "Granny's High Tea Cake" and "Liver Sausage Flan". The cover is slightly discoloured and marked with age wear including numerous scratches, slight bumping and a few small indentations; the pages are discoloured with yellowing to some edges, slight marking and light age wear. (This is one of two vintage Stork booklets from our shop which are featured in the July 2013 issue of Homes & Antiques magazine; the other - "Beat the Clock with Stork" - was still available when our site was last updated.)
