Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II commemorative drinking glasses / tumblers x 2, 1953

A pair of commemorative drinking glasses / tumblers (manufacturer unknown), in clear glass with colour transfer decoration and gilt rims, produced to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, June 2nd, 1953; each glass measures approximately 11.6cm (4.55in) in height and 7cm (2.75in) in diameter at the top.  Both glasses have some age wear including scratching and abrasion to the surface, slight to moderate wear to the gilt and slight wear / imperfections to the transfers, and one has a couple of part-fingerprint marks which would appear to date from manufacture (the smaller one is clearly in gilt, whilst the larger one cannot be wiped or rubbed away); there are minor manufacturing imperfections including lines and a few tiny air bubbles in the glass.
