A small (but not miniature) commemorative china mug with gently tapered sides, produced to mark the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra on 26th June 1902, measuring approximately 7.3cm (2.85in) in height and 6.8cm (2.7in) in diameter at the base, in white glaze with a large colour transfer (featuring twin portraits of the King and Queen) plus gilt rim and handle trim; the base bears a blue-green printed number. There is a small chip to the outer rim above the handle, and there is some slight roughness / nibbling to the base edge (which may or may not date from manufacture), together with surface wear including a few scratches, some spots of abrasion, scuffing to the base, marking to the foot, some wear / imperfections to the transfer, and wear to the gilt; there are some minor imperfections in the glaze including a few black spots to the interior, whilst there is some unevenness to the unglazed foot.
