A collection of nineteen vintage corrugated foil streamers / Christmas decorations, c.1960s-70s, some printed with a single colour to one side, others with a three-colour flame design. Each streamer is approximately 5cm (1.95in) wide; the length varies, but two taken at random measured (very approximately) 57cm (22.45in) and 65cm (25.6in) respectively. These may have been intended to decorate the sides of cakes, but have clearly been used as Christmas or party decorations, many having had thread attached for hanging purposes. There are varying degrees of age wear including wear to the printed design, crinkling to the foil and the occasional tear; a few show some signs of corrosion including small holes.
