Churchman's No.1 Cigarettes tin, c.1920s-30s

A "Churchman's No.1 Cigarettes" tin (empty) with hinged lid, c.1920s-30s, printed in green with gilt borders to the whole of the outside, with gilt inside lid, and stamped "4249" to the base.  The tin, which measures approximately 14.5 x 11.3 x 1.8cm (5.7 x 4.45 x 0.7in), originally contained 50 cigarettes.  There is considerable age wear including scratching, tarnishing, rust spotting to the exterior, kinks to the lid edge, and numerous dents, dings and indentations (especially to the lid).
