H. Robinson, in addition to the Arts and Crafts style title pages and inside covers / endpapers common to early Everymans.  No dustjacket; there is considerable wear, marking and staining to the cover with pencil marks including tracing over the small embossed square panel to the front cover, wear and bumping to edges and corners, and fading and discoloration to the spine with splitting to the cloth at the top edge; the pages are discoloured with numerous pencil and other marks, some creases, nicks and tears with slight paper loss and general reading wear; there is some tearing and slight paper loss to the inside front cover, whilst the front endpaper bears the original owner's name and school form number, written in ink in a childish hand; the binding is somewhat weak but still holds together.
