A large example of the classic retro Pilkingtons Chance glass handkerchief vase in the Bandel-1 pattern, in yellow with horizontal white stripes and clear edges, measuring approximately 17.5cm (6.9in) in height at the tallest point, up to 25cm (9.85in) in diameter at the top, and 9cm (3.55in) in diameter at the base. There are a few marks to the surface together with some wear to the foot and a couple of slight scratches to the base, although there are no chips or cracks; there are various slight manufacturing imperfections including lines within the glass.
