A vintage Chance Glass scalloped-edged plate with its original box, c.1960s-70s, printed in the popular "Calypto" pattern designed by Michael Harris in 1959, and measuring approximately 20.4cm (8.05in) in diameter and 2.3cm (0.9in) in depth. There is some light scratching to the glass (much of which is concentrated in one area) and slight wear to the gilt edge, together with some minor manufacturing irregularities; the box is worn, creased and bumped with damp stains and other marks, whilst the clear flexible plastic lid is worn and crushed with light discoloration and tearing to the corners.
