Music book, 24pp plus paper covers, measuring approximately 17.4 x 25.6cm (6.85 x 10.1in). Contains nine songs with piano accompaniment - nos. 950-958 in the series of songs as published separately - including "As I walked through the meadows", "Midsummer Fair" and "Admiral Benbow"; the covers and back pages advertise other songs published by Novello. The binding has been reinforced with strips of red paper to the spine and to the centre page spread; the latter strip covers the ends of the staves on page 13, but does not prevent the music from being read. The cover has a very old signature in ink to the top right corner of the front, and is discoloured and marked with age wear including bumping to edges and corners, and slight creasing; the pages are discoloured and marked with corner creases, bumping to edges and corners, a few tiny tears / nicks to edges, and general wear.
