Carlton China crested miniature vase with "City of Cardiff" coat of arms

A Carlton China (Wiltshaw and Robinson) crested miniature vase with "City of Cardiff" coat of arms and gilt rim, early 20th century, measuring approximately 5.3cm (2.1in) in height and 3.5cm (1.4in) in diameter, and marked to the base with the black printed "W & R / STOKE ON TRENT / CARLTON CHINA" crown and swallow stamp together with a small red handpainted code and another faint mark (perhaps an old price in pencil).  There is some age wear including scratching and slight abrasion to the surface, slight to moderate wear to the gilt and slight wear and imperfections to the crest, together with minor imperfections in the glaze and slight roughness to the rim.
