A small c.1920s cardboard box (empty), from C. W. Dixey & Son, Opticians to the King, 3, New Bond St., London, W.1., which would originally have contained a pair of spectacles. The box, which measures approximately 12.3 x 6.7 x 3.2cm (4.85 x 2.65 x 1.25in), has some age wear and staining, and a corner missing from the label on the lid, but the printing is 100% legible, and the box itself remains intact.
