This allegorical work of fiction describes a bus journey taken by an individual from Hell (the "grey town") to Heaven. No dustjacket; the cloth board cover has considerable marking to the front and slight marking elsewhere, together with some bumping to the corners and edges, creasing to the spine and slight general wear; there is a surface crease to the inside front cover, together with some foxing to the inside covers and endpapers, and indentation to the front endpapers where a pencilled name has been rubbed out. The pages (which are of fairly low quality post-war paper) are discoloured with occasional creases and slight marks, and there is some foxing and some indentation to the page edges.
