A scarce novel by the author of Father Malachy's Miracle, set in contemporary (i.e. mid-1930s) central London, centring upon a collection of Anglican and Roman Catholic clergy and their attitudes to the world and its pleasures. No dustjacket; there is some age wear to the cover including bumping and wear to edges and corners, together with some discoloration, fading to the spine, and various marks including some damp stains and a "ring mark" to the front cover; the pages are discoloured with some marks (including foxing in places), occasional corner creases, and slight corner and edge wear.
