A heart-shaped Bronnley's "Hearts and Flowers" dusting powder box, dating from the mid-1950s (the Royal Warrant refers to "the late King George VI"). Measuring approximately 6.5cm (2.55in) tall and 10.7cm (4.2in) between the trough and the tip of the heart (lid), the internal paper seal over the powder is still intact (although there has been slight leakage of the contents), and the original heart-shaped powder puff and paper tag (similar to a garment label in appearance) to the exterior of the box are still present, as is a small promotional leaflet describing other products in the "Hearts and Flowers" range. There is, however, some wear to the exterior of the box, especially to the base and lid; the latter has ballpoint pen marks, several scratches and a couple of rough patches where labels have been removed.
