Broadhurst Ironstone tea plates x 4, in "Sentinel" design by Kathie Winkle, c.1960s

A set of four c.1960s vintage Broadhurst Ironstone tea plates in Kathie Winkle's "Sentinel" design (transfer-printed with hand-painted elements), each measuring approximately 16.6cm (6.55in) in diameter.  The underside of each is marked with the Broadhurst / Kathie Winkle signature stamp, together with a printed number or letter.  Each plate has moderate age wear, scratching, marking and manufacturing irregularities including small unglazed patches and some smudging to the black printing of the design and backstamps; two have slight cracking to the glaze, and two have small unglazed patches to the edges, whilst one has a rough nick / chip to the edge (which may be either a manufacturing flaw or later damage).
