A box of twelve cute miniature Christmas crackers, each covered in decorative silver foil and measuring approximately 8cm (3.15in) long, and probably dating from the 1930s. The box, which measures approximately 18 x 9 x 1.8cm (7.1 x 3.55 x 0.7in), has a blue lid with gilt pattern, but bears no maker's name, merely having a number written in one corner of the base. The crackers do not appear to contain snaps, but do contain charms or trinkets (one small metal charm can be seen sticking out of the inside of one cracker); nearly all have had thread attached for hanging purposes. The crackers are to some extent misshapen, creased and worn to the surface, whilst the box has some age wear and slight marking.
