A box of "Ivy Series" white cloth Re-inforcing Washers, dating perhaps from the 1930s, "for strengthening punched holes in reference papers, etc". One of these washers is attached to the front of the box, and a large number remain within. The box, which measures approximately 5.7 x 3.9 x 1.3cm (2.25 x 1.55 x 0.5in), has age wear including creasing, discoloration and spots of rust staining, and a code or price has been written on the back in blue ink.
