A set of three BBC Broadcasts to Schools booklets for Autumn Term 1950, Spring Term 1951, and Summer Term 1951, bound (not professionally) in a cloth-covered card cover with hand-written label. Each 40-page booklet measures approximately 21.5 x 12.9cm (8.45 x 5.1in), and contains several black and white illustrations and music excerpts relating to the "Adventures in Music" and "Orchestral Concerts" series of broadcasts. The edges of the pages appear to have been trimmed, whilst there is some marking, creasing, discoloration and general age wear to the pages, and rust to the staples; the Spring 1951 booklet has the original owner's name written in pencil on the cover and scribbling in ink to the outer page edges. The binding is by no means tight, and there is general age wear and marking, including a small damp stain, to the cover.
