Boots Old English Lavender talcum powder tin, with contents, c.1930s-50s

A c.1930s-50s tin of Boots' Old English Lavender Talcum Powder, by Boots Pure Drug Co. Ltd., Nottingham, measuring approximately 14cm (5.5in) tall including cap, 7.5cm (2.95in) wide and 2.8cm (1.1in) deep, and retaining most or all of the original contents.  The tin is printed with an imitation tapestry design, and the cap is covered with cloth.  There is some corrosion to the tin, especially to the top and bottom, together with the occasional scratch, but it nevertheless remains good as a display piece.
