A Boots "Iodized Blackcurrant Pastilles" tin with hinged lid (empty), by Boots Pure Drug Co. Ltd, Nottingham, c.1930s-40s, measuring approximately 9.4 x 6.1 x 2cm (3.7 x 2.4 x 0.8in). There is no rust either inside or out; however, there is some fading to the lid, together with several dings, scratching and general wear, whilst there is likewise some general wear to the outside base, including tarnishing, scratching and a few dings; the interior is generally bright with some spots and patches of tarnish.
