A Boots 1967 Home Diary & Family Note Book, with a typically 1960s bird design to the front and back cover, printed by Boots Pure Drug Company Limited, Nottingham. The hardcover diary, which measures approximately 13.1 x 20.3cm (5.15 x 8in), and has not been written in, contains 204 pages (excluding covers and endpapers), including advice on First Aid, "Leisure for Pleasure", "Mothercraft", photography, wine, pets and gardening, as well as the standard diary pages. The cover has general age wear including scratching and bumping to the corners, and the white areas (especially the spine) are visibly discoloured; the inside covers and endpapers show foxing, together with some little black spots (somewhat like charcoal), whilst there is discoloration to the page edges and slight discoloration and marking to the pages themselves.
