"Bell's Money Maker" (early version of classic magic trick) in original box, c.1950s (SOLD)

An early version of a classic magic trick, this "Bell's Money Maker" ("Here is the greatest Fun Maker of the Century.  Changes Plain Paper into Money in a most Realistic Manner.  A "Bell" Product.  Made in England") dates from the 1950s or thereabouts, and retains its original box and instructions ("Insert a note, £1 or 10/-").  The trick, which is made of black plastic with black sugar paper and wooden knobs and rollers, fits snugly inside the box, which measures approximately 12.2 x 8.2 x 3cm (4.8 x 3.25 x 1.2in).  The box is worn with considerable marking and discoloration, slight creasing, and some bumping and tearing / splitting to some corners, whilst the instructions have yellowed considerably; the trick itself, however, remains in good condition with only slight wear commensurate with age.
