An antique Baxter print of the Royal Family at Windsor Castle, c.1850, showing Queen Victoria and Prince Albert looking out from a window-balcony with their children playing below. The print, the exposed area of which measures approximately 12.1 x 20.6cm (4.75 x 8.1in) excluding a small crown at the top, has been mounted in relatively recent times in a black and gilt wooden frame measuring approximately 22.9 x 32.4cm (9 x 12.75in), with bevelled card mount. There is a small tear / puncture of about two square millimetres (0.1 square inch) to the top left of the print, together with a few small spot marks and other slight age wear (and perhaps slight fading); there are also a few small marks to the glass and mount, and slight wear to the frame including surface crackling and chipping. Despite these minor defects, the picture remains perfectly presentable, and contains much appealing detail.
