"Bartholomew's One Inch Map of The Lake District", printed and published by John Bartholomew & Son Ltd, Edinburgh; undated but probably c.1950. This cloth-backed map, which is folded into 32 sections, measures approximately 10.8 x 21.4cm when folded, 84 x 74.7cm fully unfolded. There is considerable wear and tear to the folds (including holes worn through at some corners), together with discoloration, creasing, marking, slight foxing, and fraying to the cloth backing; one place name has been circled in blue ballpoint.
