An Aynsley bone china dinner plate, probably intended for embassy or other official use, measuring approximately 26.8cm (10.55in) in diameter, in white with twin gilt bands to the rim and a small gilt coat of arms for Ghana (as introduced in March 1957 - for more information on this coat of arms click here); the base is marked with the green printed "AYNSLEY / ENGLAND / Bone China" crown stamp together with the retailer's mark "ASPREY LONDON" in gilt.  The plate remains in good condition apart from a few scratches and tiny spot marks together with slight wear to the gilt.
