"Australia's Royal Welcome: Commemorative Edition" (Melbourne, a Colorgravure Publication, c.1953-4). Hardback, approximately 80 pages (unpaginated), measuring approximately 25.3 x 31.4 x 1.3cm. A souvenir of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's tour of Australia, 3 February - 1 April 1954, including numerous black-and-white and colour photographs of the Royal Family and of various Australian locations, together with an itinerary of the tour and accompanying text, and a striking three-dimensional depiction of the Australian coat of arms (and those of the States) to the inside covers. This copy is ex-Chartered Institute of Secretaries Library, and thus has a library presentation label glued to the front endpaper, occasional library stamps to pages, library numbers written on the title page and spine, and patches of old adhesive to the outside covers where old library labels have been removed. No dustjacket; the cover has (in addition to the library number and glue marks) some discoloration in places, a couple of spots of white paint to the front together with other slight marks, bumping to the corners and (to a lesser extent) the edges, and moderate general age wear. There is slight to moderate reading wear to the pages, together with some bumping to the corners, a few minor creases or wrinkles and the odd slight tear; the introductory and itinerary pages are somewhat tanned, whilst the other pages are slightly discoloured with some yellowing visible to edges where illustrations do not go right up to the edge.
