Arts and Crafts copper crumb tray and brush with bird and floral design, early 20th century

An attractive Arts and Crafts style copper crumb tray and brush set, dating from the early 20th century.  The tray, which measures approximately 21.9cm (8.6in) across, has a design in light relief incorporating flowers, leaves and a large bird, and a scalloped end which functions as a handle; the brush, which measures approximately 28cm (11in) across in a straight line from end to end, has a wooden handle partly covered with copper sheet heavily embossed with a floral design.  The tray has a small manufacturer's mark ("S & S. P") to the underside.  There is some verdigris and spotting to the copper, together with some age wear including a few scratches and a slightly misshapen corner; there is likewise moderate wear to the bristles and the brush handle, which has a slightly rough oval mark to the upper surface.  (Please note that the colour of the main picture is more accurate than that of some of the close-ups.)
