Art Deco vase (clear glass, pale blue frosted and gilt bands) with original label, c.1940s (SOLD)

An Art Deco vase of typically 1940s style, measuring approximately 14cm (5.5in) in height and 10.9cm (4.3in) in diameter at the top, in clear thin glass with pale blue frosted and gilt banding; unusually, this vase retains the original (somewhat worn) silver triangular label, printed in blue with the words "DECOR / LANDPORT / FOREIGN".  There is some scratching and marking to the surface of the glass, together with some wear to the gilt and age wear to the base; there are some lines and other manufacturing irregularities in the glass.
