Art Deco pale amber glass pendant lampshade with frosted and gilt bands, c.1940s

An Art Deco pendant lampshade / light shade of typically 1940s style, in pale amber glass with a pattern of frosted, clear and gilt bands and a frilled lower edge, measuring approximately 12.7cm (5in) in height and 11.4cm (4.5in) in diameter at the base.   The lampholder hole is of standard size (approximately 2.9cm / 1.15in in diameter), and thus the shade will fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder.  There is some slight to moderate wear to the gilding, together with a few slight scratches and some marking, including spots of paint, to the frosted areas; there are a couple of large shallow chips to the interior around the lampholder hole, in addition to the usual roughness (not visible when the shade is hung), and there are some manufacturing irregularities in the glass.
