Art Deco glass pendant lampshades x 2 (pale gold, internally textured with gilt), c.1940s (SOLD)

A pair of vintage pendant lampshades / light shades of typically 1940s style, each measuring approximately 14cm (5.5in) in height and 13cm (5.1in) in diameter (at the widest), in pale gold glass (which sometimes appears slightly greenish), internally textured, with Art Deco style horizontal ribbing to the upper portions and frilled lower edges, together with gilt banding and decoration.  The lampholder holes are of standard size (approximately 2.9cm / 1.15in in diameter), and thus the shades will fit standard UK plastic pendant lampholders.  There are some small chips and nibbles around the lampholder holes (not visible when the shades are hung), together with some wear to the gilding in places (although most of the gilding is in good condition), slight surface marking (including some specks of paint), and occasional manufacturing imperfections in the glass.
