An original Art Deco chrome table lamp (without shade), c.1930s, with a flat skating ballerina figure attached to the stem, measuring approximately 32.3cm (12.7in) in height and 12.8cm (5.05in) in diameter at the base. The lamp has been newly rewired, with new flex (approximately 2.4m / 7.9ft long), earthed chrome BC lampholder, push switch and UK plug. There is a large dent to the base near the foot of the ballerina, together with several smaller dents and dings to the base; there is a patch of wear or discoloration to the centre of the ballerina, and there is some slight pitting to the stem and the back of the ballerina (there are one or two small rust spots to the back of the stem), together with some scratching and general age wear throughout.
Please note that, since this is a vintage lamp, it is unlikely to conform to current regulations, and it is therefore sold as a decorative item only. We therefore recommend that this lamp is tested by a qualified electrician prior to use.
